Locally made products rule! My business in located in the San Francisco Bay Area. My pattern makers are from the Bay Area. My factory that sews my garments is located in San Francisco (with some small production in Los Angeles). The fleece material for the Fleece Collection is purchased in California and made in the U.S.A.
Having local production facilities allows me to keep a close eye on quality. And high quality it is. Every stitch was thought about. Every design tweaked. Every zipper reviewed. Even the right shade of grey was obsessed over. Making small batches within the State of California allowed even the smallest detail to be closely reviewed.
And producing in California makes a difference to the economy. And sew on, and sew on.
Creating awesome clothes and manufacturing in the USA is only part of my mission. I'll be devoting a portion of my profits (please, let there be profits) and my time to causes in the field of female empowerment. I'll keep you posted on that front.
Bust Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Hip Measurement: With feet slightly separated, measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Pant Inseam: Measure from the top of your inner thigh to the bottom of your ankle. You can also measure the inseam of a similar style pant for comparison (measure from the inside crotch down the seam to the ankle).
Shrinkage: The sweatshirt material is mostly cotton and will shrink when washed. The pants will shrink approximately 1 inch in length if you line dry and about 2 inches in length if you put them in the dryer. The width will shrink a little as well, but will give a little when worn (just like your favorite jeans).
